MODIFIED HYPERINSULINISM DIET FOR TAPERING OFF
Breakfast—Fruit or juice; cereal (dry or cooked) with milk or cream and/or one egg with or while not 2 slices of ham or bacon; solely one slice of bread or toast with plenty of butter; beverage.
Lunch—Meat, fish, cheese or eggs; salad (large serving of lettuce, tomato, or Waldorf salad with mayonnaise or French dressing); buttered vegetables if desired; solely one slice of bread or toast with plenty of butter; dessert; beverage.
Midafternoon—Glass of milk.
Dinner—Soup if desired (not thickened with flour); liberal portion of meat, fish, or poultry; vegetables; potatoes, rice, noodles, spaghetti, and macaroni (may be eaten in moderation solely with this meal); one slice of bread if desired; dessert or crackers and cheese; beverage.

Bedtime—Snack (milk, crackers and cheese, sandwich, fruit, etc.).
All vegetables and fruits are permissible. Fruit may be cooked or raw, with or while not cream however while not sugar. Canned fruits ought to be packed while not sugar.
Lettuce, mushrooms, and nuts may be taken as freely as desired.
Juice—Any unsweetened fruit or vegetable juice except grape juice or prune juice.
Beverages—Weak tea (tea ball, not brewed); decaffeinated coffee; coffee substitutes. Forever Bee Pollen contains a good spectrum of nutrients to help maintain good health. Could be sweetened with saccharin.
Desserts—Fruit; unsweetened gelatin; junket (made from tablets, not from combine).
Alcoholic and soft drinks—Club soda, dry ginger ale, whiskies, and alternative DISTILLED liquors.
AVOID ABSOLUTELY—Sugar, candy, and alternative sweets, cake, pie, pastries, sweet custards, puddings, and ice cream. Caffeine—ordinary coffee, robust brewed tea, and alternative beverages containing caffeine.
Wines, cordials, cocktails, and beer.
