Welcome to Northeast Nebraska!
Northeast Nebraska Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) supports people and their communities through projects in agriculture, community development, tourism and the environment. We are a grassroots nonprofit organization that covers Antelope, Cedar, Dixon, Knox, Pierce and Wayne Counties. Local sponsoring groups include Natural Resources Districts, County Boards and Native American Tribes.

Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) is a program that helps communities improve their economies and quality of life through the wise use and development of natural resources. RC&D Councils serve as a local delivery system for rural development connecting local people with dreams for improving their community and quality of life with the resources of Federal, state and local agencies/organizations. They promote tourism, help entrepreneurs start businesses, provide adult education programs, initiate hazardous waste pick-ups, expand rural agriculture markets and more.

Our Vision: To facilitate progress in our communities, improve viability and enhance quality of life.

Our Mission: Provide leadership by seeking technical and financial assistance to create new opportunities in agriculture, employment, area development and protection of the environment.
